Here to stay: Rhine-Main branch

Landmarken AG is opening a new branch to further drive its expansion. The Rhine-Main unit, which was founded in 2020 and has already successfully acquired and developed projects in Bonn, will become a branch based in Frankfurt on May 1.

The branch is jointly managed by Frederike Krinn and Christoph Wuchterl. The team, which currently consists of seven members—recently reinforced by Christine Rumpf as Head of Acquisition and Sebastian Thomas— is based in office premises in "Oper46" at the Alte Oper in the center of Frankfurt. In addition to Bonn and Frankfurt, where a commercial project development has already been secured, the branch focuses on locations such as the state capitals of Mainz and Wiesbaden, as well as university locations such as Koblenz and Trier.

In Mainz, Landmarken recently announced the acquisition of the Rheinwiesen I property in the Zollhafen district development. The approximately 5,600 square meter site, with building rights for around 19,000 square meters of floor space, forms the northern entrance to the urban quarter with direct access to the Rhine. Following an architectural competition to ensure quality, a mix of commercial uses is planned here, including restaurants and a high quality of life.

Frederike Krinn has already successfully established the Bonn project location for Landmarken AG over the past four years – together with CEO Jens Kreiterling. In addition to a new hotel building on Erzbergerufer that has already been completed and opened, the handover of the resource-saving refurbishment of Kontor 2 in Bonn is imminent. Further ESG-oriented portfolio optimizations are also in development. With the Green Canyon project, the company is also developing a true landmark with a focus on collaborative work and climate responsibility.

From a landmark perspective, the Rhine-Main region offers many sustainable development opportunities. The aim is to actively stimulate further projects there. "The landmark DNA fits very well with the mentality of the Rhine-Main area," says Frederike Krinn, who was already head of the unit that is now becoming the new branch. "We are very excited to develop new landmarks and build up the location with a great, powerful team. We're here to stay!"

Now also present in Düsseldorf: Landmarken is setting upanother office in Düsseldorf. "It is important to us to offer our employees and those of the group of companies job opportunities close to where they live," says Landmarken CEO Jens Kreiterling. The premises, which will be occupied from mid-May, are conveniently located directly in the Media Harbor. In addition to Aachen, Bochum, Frankfurt, Monheim, and Münster, the Landmarken team will now also be present in the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia.
