Facility Services Restructured at Landmarken
Last year, Landmarken reorganized its facility services. This move was driven by the strong growth of recent years and the company’s commitment to ensuring reliable technical support for its properties in the future.
A key step was taking on more technical services in-house. Tasks that were previously outsourced are now increasingly being carried out by the company’s own specialists. To this end, the company has systematically built up technical expertise—including specialists in heating and ventilation, electrical work, metalworking, and elevator technology.
The goal of the restructuring is to shorten coordination channels, respond more quickly to on-site requirements, and consolidate responsibility more firmly within our own team.
Employees in operational property management play a particularly important role in this regard. Building technicians, property managers, and caretakers are present at the properties every day, coordinate on-site activities, and maintain direct communication with tenants and service providers.
Equally important is the work of colleagues in central management. They coordinate scheduling, organization, and technical processes, thereby laying the foundation for smooth day-to-day operations.
This development is also viewed positively within the team. Property manager Michael particularly highlights the independent organization of his work, the resolution of technical issues in daily operations, and the close collaboration with maintenance companies. He also considers teamwork and the exchange with colleagues from different departments to be especially important.
With the further development of Facility Services, Landmarken aims to strengthen technical expertise within the company in the long term and further enhance the quality of support at its locations.
