The Landmarken family – a "Great Place to Work"

For the fourth time in a row, the Landmarken family of companies has received the "Best Employer in North Rhine-Westphalia" seal of approval from Great Place to Work. This award not only confirms our ongoing commitment to an excellent workplace culture, but also the trust and satisfaction of our employees, which we are very pleased about.

The "fifth finger" is already in place

The TZA on Europaplatz in Aachen is the flagship of our sister company The Urban Village: a bustling office world with individual workspaces, a modern work space, and digitally equipped conference rooms that connect its users with each other. The possibility of expansion was already considered during the development of the building, which connects four office blocks. Now, the topping-out ceremony for the fifth block, also known as the "fifth finger," has been celebrated.

Half of the residential space, which will cover a gross floor area of over 14,000 square meters, will be publicly subsidized. Completion is scheduled for early 2027.

POHA House Preuswald in Aachen has been expanded with an important addition and is now complete: With the opening of the nearly 500-square-meter community space on the ground floor—the most sustainable in the company's history—the Cospace concept can now be fully implemented at POHA House's fourth location. Founded in 2019, the real estate start-up creates cospaces that combine high-quality furnished apartments, flexible workspaces, and attractive community spaces under one roof—mostly in central downtown locations.

Purchase agreement with Continental: Landmarken develops former plant site in Aaachen

C-WERK GmbH, a sister company of Landmarken AG, Stadtmarken GmbH and ecoPARKS GmbH, has purchased the site of the former Continental tire plant in Aachen. Companies from the manufacturing industry can be established on the site in the short term. In the long term, the developers plan to develop the C-WERK, as it will be called in the future, into an open and sustainable quarter for urban production and commerce. The development of the former Opel plant site in Bochum serves as a model.
